2018 Effective Technical Assistance Systems in QRIS Peer Learning Group
The National Center on Early Childhood Quality Assurance (ECQA Center) and the BUILD Initiative provided a peer learning group (PLG) for states and territories seeking ways to move beyond a basic quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) technical assistance (TA) structure designed to prepare programs for ratings. Instead, systems focused on providing program supports, resources, and practices to improve quality and outcomes for children were explored. Fourteen states participated including Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, Washington DC, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.
